Dr. Anthony Idahosa
Optometrist
Dr. Anthony is a seasoned optometrist who is specialized in treating eye diseases, fitting contact lenses and managing glaucoma. Prior to that, he examined patients at the 313, Artillery Brigade Medical Centre in Minna and the Training and Doctrine Command Medical Centre, in Niger state. Dr. Anthony has cared for several diverse groups of patients including soldiers, army officers, veterans, the legally blind, difficult contact lens patients and he has done so with dedication, earning the right to be considered the caring optometrist. He has participated in a lot of voluntary charity projects and activities in Niger State where he treated a lot of people with eye diseases and vision defects free of charge. In 2016, He was a member of an NGO that provided free eye care services to all the local government areas in Akwa- Ibom state. As a way of reaching out to the poor and less privileged in the society, he runs a charity campaign known as Copa Charity Campaign [CCC) in rural communities which have no access to quality eye care. We are fortunate to have a young doctor with experience in so many areas of vision care.
Dr. Anthony Idahosa has presented research papers on the "Comparisons in diurnal fluctuations between Glaucomatous and non- glaucomatous patients". He has also given presentations on "Kerato- conjunctivitis in young children". Dr. Anthony is known for delivering great values in the Eyecare profession and has demonstrated he cares about the elderly and young alike. His professional affiliations include membership in the Optometry and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board Of Nigeria [ODORBN] and Nigeria Optometric Association, Edo state chapter.
Dr. Anthony lives in Benin City. In his free time, he enjoys reading, having fun with friends and family, and running his digital marketing company; Copa Digitals Inc; a company that helps grow brands and business through the internet. Dr. Anthony Idahosa was raised in Benin City, Edo State and attended the prestigious University of Benin, where he received a Doctor of Optometry and served as an academic tutor to other students.
